“Our Cd is really good. We found it to be a very useful resource for young children’s learning and in developing rhythm and beat skills. Popular with children and adults alike, it is something completely different and I would recommend it to anyone!”

Count with Keeping the Beat
The Early Years Foundation Stage (The core document for all practitioners working with children from birth to five) recommends the use of number rhymes as a key way of developing children’s mathematical understanding. Some of the songs on this CD are number rhymes which have been used successfully for many years with young children. Others are new songs, especially written to support early counting and calculating skills. All are set to the usual funky tunes, including a rap version of Five Currant Buns, and a rock anthem version of the newly written Air Guitar Numbers. The learning potential from each song is included inside the CD cover, along with all the song lyrics.
