Keeping The Beat is a music service which focuses on improving children's ability to learn, through introducing them to songs and rhymes which will capture their interest and give them a solid foundation for future learning. The company’s philosophy and approach is firmly rooted in educational research about how children learn best and how early experience impacts on later achievement.
Our music gives young children an exciting introduction to rhythm and rhyme (key factors in later achievement) through engaging them in traditional and modern nursery rhymes and songs, which are set to funky, catchy tunes of a very high musical quality. These are derived from current music styles such as pop, rap, garage etc, which are designed to instantly engage not only children, but also the adults who share the musical experience with them!
Keeping The Beat CDs
Keeping The Beat’s debut CD is already being used by parents, schools, nurseries, child minders, education advisers and community workers such as SureStart employees. Listen to a sample or purchase a CD.
Customised CDs
Keeping The Beat also offer a service for creating personalised CDs. This is aimed at programmes such as SureStart and encourages parental and community involvement, through the selection of songs and artwork for the CD.
